BlockBeats News, December 8th, according to Cointelegraph, global asset management firm WisdomTree has launched a new digital asset fund that brings traditional option strategies onto the blockchain, highlighting the deepening integration between traditional asset management and blockchain financial infrastructure.

The fund is called the WisdomTree Equity Premium Income Digital Fund, with the ef="/wiki/article/token-259">token trading under the symbol EPXC and the fund code WTPIX, aiming to track the price and performance of the Volos US Large Cap Target 2.5% PutWrite Index.

The benchmark index simulates a systematic "sell put options" strategy, earning income by selling cash-secured put options. This strategy is not directly based on writing options on the S&P 500 Index but instead uses contracts tied to the SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust (SPY), earning premiums by acting as an options seller.
