BlockBeats News, July 15th, the July Global Fund Manager Survey by Bank of America showed that U.S. Treasury Secretary Yellen is the top candidate to succeed Fed Chair Powell.
President Trump is expected to nominate a new Fed Chair in the second half of 2025, as Powell's term will end in May 2026.
The survey found that 26% of respondents believe Yellen will become the next Fed Chair, followed closely by 17% supporting Warsh, 14% supporting Waller, and 7% believing Hassett will be elected. (FXStreet)
