Ukrainian President's Advisor: Ending the Russia-Ukraine Conflict Requires Ceasefire Before Negotiation

Serhiy Leshchenko, Chief Advisor to the Office of the President of Ukraine, made a statement on social media on August 16th regarding the ways and means to end the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Leshchenko stated that Ukraine firmly believes that a ceasefire must be achieved first before advancing to further negotiation processes.
Leshchenko clearly pointed out that Ukraine's position is very clear, that is, ceasefire first, then other discussions. The reason for this is that if negotiations are initiated before a ceasefire, Ukraine will face a huge ransom risk. Only by effectively achieving a ceasefire can the necessary space for diplomatic activities be opened up. (Sina Finance)
