Strategy Completes $2.521 Billion STRC Stock IPO, Acquires 21,021 BTC
BlockBeats News, July 30, Strategy (MSTR) announced the completion of the initial public offering (IPO) of 28,011,111 shares of Floating Rate Series A Convertible Preferred Stock, "STRC," at a price of $90 per share. STRC's IPO is the largest in the United States in 2025 and one of the largest cryptocurrency-related offerings in recent years. STRC is expected to be listed on the Nasdaq Global Select Market around July 30, 2025, under the stock symbol "STRC." The total funds raised in this transaction are approximately $2.521 billion.
Strategy (MSTR) has increased its holdings of 21,021 bitcoins to a total value of about $24.6 billion, with an average purchase price of around $117,256. Strategy has realized a 25.0% return on its bitcoin holdings year-to-date in 2025. As of July 29, 2025, Strategy holds 628,791 bitcoins with a total value of approximately $73.73 billion. The average cost per bitcoin is around $73,277, with a total cost of approximately $46.08 billion.
