The upcoming FOMC meeting is expected to be one of the most controversial in recent years, with investors focusing on the policymakers' divergent views on rate cuts and the signals Fed Chair Powell will send about the future direction of policy. Of the 12 FOMC voting members, 5 are opposed or skeptical of further easing monetary policy, while 3 members support a rate cut.
