Matrixdock releases latest semi-annual physical gold audit report, strengthening physical gold transparency practices
Matrixport's RWA platform Matrixdock recently released the H2 2025 semi-annual physical gold audit report. The report focused on the disclosure of the physical gold reserve corresponding to the XAUm token, demonstrating Matrixdock's ongoing commitment to physical asset verification and information transparency.

This audit was conducted by an independent third-party professional organization in accordance with institutional-grade standards, providing a comprehensive examination of the physical gold reserve corresponding to the XAUm token. The audit strictly followed industry-leading gold ETF audit standards, covering all elements such as weight, purity, serial numbers, and vault custody information, achieving a piece-by-piece validation of each physical gold bar.
The XAUm gold token introduced by Matrixdock adopts a "dual-validation" mechanism: relying on an independent physical audit process on one hand and combining on-chain real-time verification tools on the other, allowing investors to transparently and continuously observe the mapping between token supply and corresponding gold reserve.
Audit Coverage and Key Data
● Audit Execution Date: January 7, 2026
● Physical Gold Reserve: 482 LBMA-accredited 1 kg gold bars
● Total Weight: 482 kg (approximately 15,595.336 oz)
● Custodian Vaults: Brink’s Hong Kong, Brink’s Singapore, Malca-Amit Singapore
● Based on the audit date's gold price estimation, the market value of the relevant physical gold is approximately $71.75 million
● The audit results showed no discrepancies between the physical gold and the related records
In addition, compared to the audit in the first half of 2025, the number of physical gold bars covered in this audit increased by 61.

Enhancing the Verifiability of Tokenized Gold through On-Chain Tools
Furthermore, the gold allocation lookup tool provided by Matrixdock allows XAUm holders to view specific gold bar information corresponding to their tokens through a Web3 wallet. For example, a standard 1 kg gold bar is equivalent to approximately 32.148 XAUm tokens, providing a more intuitive asset mapping for tokenized gold.
As tokenized assets move from innovation to infrastructure development, investor trust will increasingly rely on verifiable facts rather than verbal promises. Matrixdock stated that it will continue to advance reserve transparency and institutionalized operational standards, committed to providing a more trustworthy and secure gold digital asset solution for global investors.
