Eightco Holdings announced the completion of a $125 million financing, with Bitmine as the lead investor
According to market news, crypto asset treasury company Eightco Holdings announced the completion of a $125 million financing to support its layout in the blockchain and artificial intelligence fields.
This round of financing was led by Bitcoin treasury company Bitmine with a $75 million investment, while Ark Invest and Kraken's parent company Payward each invested $25 million. Bitmine Chairman Tom Lee will join the Eightco board, and Ark Invest's Chief Futurist Brett Winton will serve as a board advisor. Eightco also announced the completion of a $50 million strategic investment in OpenAI, as well as a $25 million investment in Beast Industries, owned by YouTuber MrBeast. Following this news, Eightco's stock price rose 12% on Thursday.
