The full-length has already produced a pair of singles, both of which are performing well on the Billboard charts, as listeners across the U.S. appear genuinely excited to hear more from the Grammy-nominated musician. All the excitement surrounding the upcoming project, combined with the continued success of his breakout smash and his recently-released single, helps Boone collect a surprise new bestseller this week. “Sorry, I’m Here for Someone Else” Debuts “Sorry, I’m Here for Someone Else” debuts on the Digital Song Sales chart this week. The cut opens at No. 22 on Billboard’s ranking of the bestselling individual tunes in the U.S. During the past tracking frame, the tune sold just under 2,000 copies across the country, according to Luminate. Benson Boone’s Surprising New Bestseller The arrival of “Sorry, I’m Here for Someone Else” is somewhat surprising, given that it’s not exactly new by pop standards. Boone released the track in late February as the first taste from his upcoming project, and it has already spent double-digit weeks on several other rankings. Pure purchases are typically strongest when a tune first debuts. As of this frame, “Sorry, I’m Here for Someone Else” has now spent 10 weeks on seven other Billboard rankings. That roundup includes the Hot 100 as well as four different radio rankings, and the tune reaches new peaks on several of them this frame — including the all-encompassing list of the most-consumed compositions in the U.S. Benson Boone’s Lowest-Peaking Single “Sorry, I’m Here for Someone Else” is currently matched as Boone’s lowest-peaking track on the Digital Song Sales chart. He has only sent four tunes to the tally, and his recent release ties the No. 22 peak of “Slow It Down,” which spent one frame on the roster last spring. Three Hits at the Same Time Three of Boone’s four compositions that have appeared on the Digital Song Sales chart find space on the list this time around. “Beautiful Things,” which turned him into a global superstar in early 2024, returns to the highest tier. This time around, it lifts from No. 13 to No. 10 after 68 weeks on the roster. That’s an incredible length of time to spend as one of the bestselling tracks in the largest music market in the world. “Mystical Magical,” the second single taken from American Heart , dips in its second stint on the purchase-only list. This period, the song from No. 9 — where it started last frame — to No. 14. Source: https://www.forbes.com/sites/hughmcintyre/2025/05/14/benson-boones-surprising-new-bestseller/
